BOOTH, Melville Leslie - Entered into rest at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Melville Booth, in his 97th year, was the loved son of the late John and Elma Booth. Beloved husband of Victoria "Vic" McGinnis for 72 years. Fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law Audrey Shaw, Verna Patterson, Lorna Bowler (Ray Cannon), Isla Holmes, Evelyn Kane (Gerald), Judy Ferry (Michael) and brother-in-law Lloyd McGinnis (Carolyn Mason McGinnis). Predeceased by Claude Patterson, Howard Shaw, Doris (Ernie Villeneuve), El Hayes. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Friday, July 12th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Fairview Baptist Church, 102 Colborne Street West, Lindsay on Saturday, July 13th at 11:00. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay. Memorial donations may be made to the Heritage Christian school or Fairview Baptist Church Building Fund.
