Kuel, Maximilian "Max" - Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Kawartha Lakes on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the age of 96. Beloved husband of Rita Kuel (née Jüergensen) for 57 years. Father of Brigitte, grandfather of Petra, and great-grandfather of Aaron and Emmanul. Uncle of Louis Jr. and Bill Kuel. Max will be remembered and greatly missed by his extended family and friends in Austria, Germany, Denmark, and Canada. In keeping with Max's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. The family would like to thank the staff of Lakeland Village and Extendicare for the exceptional care that Max received over the past two years.
